I had left the HMI in power OFF state for few days (and tried powering ON, i faced the same reboot issue again but this time, after a few reboot (around 10 mins of rebooting) the programmed screens appeared again. Tried doing few round of power cycle (everything was fine). ![]() I was happy about what i had got (i managed to see the programmed screens & navigate around. SIMATIC Field PG M5 Advanced I7-6820EQ (2.8 to 3.5 GHz 4 kernels+hyperthreading 8 MB SMART cache) 15.6 display Full HD (1920x 1080) WLAN 802.11AC. At the end of the recovery process, remove the USB stick and press the "REBOOT" button. To reset the HMI device to the factory settings, press the button "START RECOVERY (.3.)" three times and follow the instructions shown on the display. I have tried using the recovery method to recover the HMI & the HMI went back into the actual programmed screens but I didn't manage to get the screen/page as mentioned in the link provided: Problem description: It was rebooting repeatedly (never went into the actual programmed screens) or settings/transfer/menu screen, it shows starting screen with boot loader version followed by the Screen "SIMATIC" & white screen then it continued to reboot. ![]()
